Charles G. “Rick” Rickards | Charles Grant "Rick" Rickards was born July 25, 1930 in Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia. He moved with his family to 230 Union Avenue, Delanco in 1948. Rick joined the US Air Force reserves on December 20, 1950 and served intil 1958 during the Korean Conflict. His specialty was the weather department and he served all eight years at McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey with the rank of Private. He married Veronica "Ronnie" in October of 1957. After the service, Rick served as a mail carrier for a year, then became the first delivery driver for Drink-a-Toast Company in 1953. He also ran Rick's Sign business in Delanco. The family enjoyed travel and summer trips to Brant Beach on Long Beach Island. Ronnie died in 2016. Rick passed away in Delran on March 25, 2023 at the age of 92. | USAF Res Pvt | ?
